I live in South Carolina and love it here. However we have had some awful weather of recent. Hilton Head is beautiful. If you get a chance you should also go to Charleston.
Hilton Head is gorgeous, but yeah, it IS awfully chilly on the beach. Glad I packed a sweater.

I took a power boat trip from Savannah to Hilton Head. Saw several baby porpoises swimming with their moms!
