Check This Out

I was shopping at my local Publix the other day when I noticed this tee shirt.

Very nice sentiment, right? Patriotic.

Well, after seeing that I just had to check the label.

What a shocker. Of course it was made in Nicaragua. I was only surprised that it wasn't made in China.

At first I thought this was funny in an ironic way, but now I just think it's sad.

Thats for girls with implants to wear.

At least DuPont makes its implants in the good ole USA.

No, the tee shirt for implants is,
NOT EVERYTHING IS FLAT IN IOWA. That would be awesome!

Wow. Just wow.

It would be one thing if the shirt said, "Made in America" instead of "Made in USA". I mean south and central are still part of "The Americas", but "USA" leaves little to the imagination.

D- it takes a lot of balls to have a shirt that says "Made in the USA" actually be made else where. When I first saw it, I was actually a little hopeful that it was manufactured here. But then - D'oh!

LA- sometimes when my friends say things somewhat critical of the country I will jokingly say, "Why do you hate America?" I should make a tee shirt with that on it.

Mr G- pretty pathetic, eh?

Maybe it's like one of those Magritte statements like "this is not a pipe"

I think it's inviting controversy, rioting, and artistic statement, I think you should burn it in the aisle of Target. Put on like a Founding Father's mask and a trench coat, burn the lot and get the hell out. I'll even come down to help, I love me some controversy.

Diane- yep!

Helen- I would but nobody cares. (sigh) They don't even get mad about the war anymore.

My wife and I went to Orlando Mickeys land this past Christmas. While at the China exhibit in Epcot, I almost wet my pants laughing when I looked at the labels of Chinese character T-shirts, and saw they were made in Malaysia!

Me- and demented.

Larry- LOL. So typical.
